Are you and your partner a good fit? Let’s figure it out together. Leave a Comment / By Rocio Duran / October 10, 2024 As a life coach, I have had the opportunity to accompany many couples in their struggles and successes, and it all starts with the desire to have a better life together. It is possible, but it takes work from both of you. Understanding how you are aligned in areas such as communication, emotional support, habits, and values would help you strengthen your relationship. This compatibility test will help you evaluate several key areas of your relationship in a thoughtful and honest way. Through a series of questions, you will discover if you are in sync and which areas may need more attention. Take the time to answer honestly and remember that there are no right or wrong answers: it's what you discover about your relationship that matters. How do you usually handle conflicts in your relationship? We discuss openly, seeking solutions together. We let things cool down before talking. Conflicts are often intense, and sometimes drag on unresolved. None How would you describe the quality of communication between you? We talk about everything from deep to trivial things, and we listen to each other well. We sometimes have a hard time communicating about difficult topics, but we try. We rather not talk to avoid conflict. None How much do you enjoy spending time together? We love spending time together and seek to do so often. We enjoy being together, but we also value individual time. We rather don't spend a lot of time together because we start fighting None How do you handle differences of opinion on important decisions? We dialogue and look for a middle ground that works for both of us. One of us usually gives in to avoid conflict. We try not to engage in topics that lead to different opinions to avoid conflict, and essential decisions lead to tension and arguments. None How would you describe the emotional support you receive from each other? We support each other no matter what the situation. We support each other in most things, but sometimes it is difficult to be emotionally available. I don't always feel supported when I need it. None How aligned are your core values (finance, religion, parenting, politics, etc.)? We are very aligned on key aspects. We have differences, but we try to balance them or find common ground. Our differences in values sometimes create uncertainty, disagreement and frustation. None How would you describe your sex life or intimacy in your relationship? The intimacy is excellent and we feel connected in that aspect. It is fine, but there are times when we are not in sync. We are not very connected in this aspect, which sometimes leads to frustration. None How easy is it for you to talk about future plans (such as marriage, children, money, etc.)? We are very open to talking about the future and have similar goals. We can talk about the future, but we are not always on the same page. We avoid these topics. It causes us anxiety to talk about the future. None How do you manage the time you spend with family and friends? We have found a good balance between our relationship and time with others. Sometimes we have disagreements about time with family or friends, but we manage it. There are constant disagreements about the time we spend with others. None How would you describe your trust in each other? I trust my partner completely and he trusts me. The trust is good, but we have had small challenges that we work through. There are trust issues in the relationship that we have not yet overcome. None 1 out of 10 Name Email Time's up
